The post holder will be one of two rotational band 6 positions, working in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, throughout the Bariatric patient pathway. This rotation will focus on pre-operative behaviour change support and then rotate into providing post-operative advice. Both positions help manage a variable bariatric inpatient caseload including enteral tube feeding when indicated. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, evidence-based clinical service and will receive regular clinical supervision from expert Band 7 dietitians. We are a large, high profile, forward thinking and friendly department involved in dietetic student placements and supportive of continual professional development for all staff members. To provide a specialist dietetic service to the Bariatrics services at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. To work in liaison with the Clinical Lead Dietitian in the development, delivery and evaluation of the post. This Band 6 Dietitian position is one of two rotational posts working in the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust specialist Bariatric Dietetic services. This post covers both in and outpatient work; the individual must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the management of patients in the specialist area.
