The Deputy Ward Manager is expected to continue the running of the ward in the absence of the ward manager. Providing support with staff appraisals, sickness and training support. SURGICAL DIRECTORATE 1 x BAND 6 SISTER / CHARGE NURSE - WARD 7 YGC An opportunity has arisen for x 1 Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse for Ward 7 - Trauma & Orthopaedics. All applicants must be a Registered Nurse, with recent experience at Band 5 and meet the Band 6 Job Description person specification. Experience in both pathways is essential for this Senior Nursing post holder. Post - 37.5 hours per week The position involves working as an Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse on Ogwen Ward, with a Trauma and Orthopaedics speciality Candidates should be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development and it is essential that the post holder has a good understanding of the dynamics of team work as they will be expected to work closely with multidisciplinary personnel. The post holder must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership, a positive outlook, enthusiasm and the ability to learn and develop new skills.
