The Clinical Healthcare Support Worker (CHSW) will support a registered midwife or medical practitioner in the delivery of care to women and babies using the maternity services. The CHCSW will be able to carry out a defined range of duties involving direct care in support of the midwife. The ideal candidate should be motivated and committed to join a supportive, forward thinking team. Ideally they should have experience of working as a Band 2 Health Care Support Worker or something similar, with experience within the Maternity, Neonate or P aediatric services. Training and assessment will be provided to enable the candidate to provide the clinical duties as outlined in the job description.
