Come and join us at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust for a new opportunity working in collaboration with CWPT colleagues and our community sector provider of substance misuse services, Change Grow Live (CGL). We are looking for a psychologist/psychological therapist tosupport the development of this new service innovation, to enhance the provision of psychosocial interventions within the community, for individuals with difficulties associated with substance misuse. This role involves supporting drug and alcohol key workers in the delivery of psychosocial approaches. You will carry out psychological one to one and group work interventions with individuals accessing CGL services. You will also support CGL staff and promote psychological thinking via multidisciplinary meetings and through case formulations. You will also be involved in supporting senior psychological therapists with the ongoing scoping and development of supervision processes to support drug and alcohol key workers in the delivery of psychosocial approaches. About us We are looking for people with great communication skills, who are real team players and able to support and develop multi professional colleagues. You will have a passion for the client group, ensuring that people with co-occurring needs can access both substance misuse and mental health services when they need to. To this end you will contribute alongside senior psychological therapists in influencing the way in which the dual diagnosis policy is implemented across services. You will be supported in your role by a senior psychological therapist and principal psychologist/psychological therapist. This role is managed within the community mental health service, and you willbe part of a wider family of psychological professionals with access to training and supervision opportunities within Coventry and Warwickshire partnership trust. The role is a permanent opportunity. However the substance misuse project is reviewed every 12 months, with contract renewal subject to positive evaluation. Should the contract not be renewed with the community provider, you will be able to use your skills and expertise within our mental health services in CWPT.
