The primary role of the post holder is to provide medical support for clinical studies, specialising in neurology with the Clinical research Facility, including Early phase trials and advanced therapies such cell and gene therapies, within the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at NUH. The post holder will work with experienced senior researchers supporting the implementation of patient and healthy volunteer-based clinical trials in an established clinical environment that benefits from both on-site acute medical services and experienced administrative support. You will also support risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies for new early phase studies including ATMP clinical trials About us Nottingham is one of 23 specialist clinical research facilities in England, bringing together the latest cutting-edge technology with world-leading clinical expertise. The Centre combines the expertise and multidisciplinary skills of both Magnetic Resonance physicists and clinical academics. Within neurology there is an internationally renowned academic unit and the department has a strong track record for attracting research funding and successfully delivering clinical trials Developing a new medicine requires a diverse range of expertise. The Nottingham CRF brings together the academic, clinical, NHS and industry expertise required to effectively deliver complex studies and early phase research.
