The Nutrition and Dietetics Department is a growing team of 40; based across Sandwell and West Birmingham. We have regular departmental meetings, clinical supervision sessions and education meetings. Continuing professional development is promoted and supported. The Department trains student dietitians from Coventry and Birmingham City Universities across the full range ofplacements. This post offers an opportunity for a Dietitian to take the next step in their career and really make a difference to patients requiring dietetic intervention in the community setting. We are looking for an innovative individual who is driven to support the clinical delivery of adult pathways for our diverse population as we seek to be the leaders of integrated care. Candidates will be joining a service at a time of considerable opportunity. You will need to use highly developed interpersonal skills to establish and foster strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders across the multidisciplinary team to support and enhance the care of the patient in the community. The postholder will hold a caseload of nutritional support and home enterally tube fed patients; working with patients to develop individually tailored plans to meet their nutritional needs. Additionally holding a weekly outpatient clinic working with patients requiring complex nutrition support or with gastroenterology diagnoses. This is a rewarding prospect working with a caseload of people in their own homes, outpatient centres and care homes within our integrated multidisciplinary towns team across Sandwell and West Birmingham.
