Preferably with CT experience, however a training post (Band 5 grade) would be considered if the appropriate candidate was identified. A flexible working approach is essential to delivering the highest quality of care to patients at TRFT along with an efficient service. The current CT service has expanded due to the increase in demand with a rolling shift pattern of contracted hours over seven days including night shifts. There have been some exciting changes for the CT department here at Rotherham with the newly developed CT suite in the acute hospital which has a new Siemens Somatom Drive Dual source CT scanner and a Siemens AS+ 128 slice CT scanner. Also cross-site the newly developing Rotherham Community Diagnostic Centre supported by a Siemens Somatom Go 32 Slice CT Scanner. Both departments offer an excellent service to Rotherham patients and staff The CT Service provides services to Trauma, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, General Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Breast, Neurology and Stroke Services. We actively support post graduate education and have Advanced Practice CT Radiographers reporting CT Head and CT Colonography examinations. We make every effort to support growth here at TRFT, looking at innovative ways to develop personally and professionally. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, professionalism and a flexible approach to work in order to deliver excellent patient care and provide an efficient service.
