We are energetic service, which provides acomprehensive service to enable safe, timely Early Supported Discharge from the acute hospital, thereby, reducing the length of hospital stay by continuing patient care at home. The team is operational 7 days a week between the hours of 08:00 and 22:30. We require Senior Physiotherapist with experience in a wide variety of clinical areas including the community setting. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning, risk assessment, verbal and written communication skills. Due to the response standards for the team you must be able to work under pressure and provide timely specialist Physio assessments and interventions. You will be expected to be able to work autonomously and undertake visits in line with the STARRS' Lone Working Policy. Experience of supervising other staff and students would be an advantage. You will receive informal and formal supervision from experienced Physiotherapy colleagues within the team. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your existing high-level skills in an intermediate care setting. Through our 'Top to Toe' training you will be proficient to undertake advanced clinical assessment of patients, which includes recognsing and managing acutely unwell patients in the community.
