Ensures timely transfer of appropriate patients from ambulance stack into alternative receiving services by improving interoperability, for example implementing interoperability toolkit messaging as a minimum Deal with external and internal queries. This may include providing non-clinical information or advice to patients and external stakeholders. Work with Grantas senior management team, the UEC Hub Administration Lead, Clinical Trusted Assessors and wider MDT to ensure that agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed, and updated as necessary, to ensure a universal way of working throughout the team. Provide extensive administrative support to the team to ensure the smooth running of the service To actively participate in the development of improvements for the service. Incorporate new practices to take account of new technology, demand/capacity tools. Support other members of the team as required to ensure the smooth running of the department. Monitor the hub inbox and be the first point of contact for non-clinical queries. Update and maintain a patient tracker where cases are being managed by the hub. Operating 365 days per year, the UEC Hub receives referrals between 8am to 8pm seven days a week from a range of health and care professionals which require triages and assessment to determine the right care at the right time for the patient to ensure they can remain safely at home.
