As the Directorate Manager you will be part of our Senior Management Team where you will play an important role in shaping the future of Medicine whilst striving to improve performance and patient experience. Medical Specialities 1 includes Neurology, Stroke, Diabetes and Endocrine and Medical Staffing. You will work closely with the other Directorates in Specialist Medicine; Medical Specialities 2 and the Renal Directorate. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, driven manager to support and lead the team into the next phase of our improvement work streams. The post holder, along with the Clinical Director and Deputy Head of Nursing, will work as a triumvirate, accountable for organising the resources of the Directorate to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care. If you have excellent leadership and operational management skills and have strong communication skills that allow you to effectively engage with key stakeholders, then this might just be the role for you. As the Directorate Manager, you would be accountable for several areas of performance including accountability for strategy, performance and finance.
