Cardiology Ward / ACCU is a 41 bedded unit made up of 6 ACCU bed, 6 HDU beds, 13 side rooms and 3 bays. We care for all aspects of cardiac medicine including; Intervention, Electrophysiology, Structural and Adult Congenital. We are looking for experienced staff nurses who are passionate about working in a supportive learning environment and who are keen to progress to a band 6 role with some structured support to achieve this. The John Radcliffe Hospital (JR) is an award-winning hospital and is Oxfordshire's main accident and emergency site. The JR provides acute medical and surgical services including trauma, intensive care and cardiothoracic services. It is part of Oxford University Hospitals which is one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in the UK and has a national and international reputation for the excellence of our services and our role in teaching and research.
