This post will be technical lead for our new cluster area covering Meadowbrook, Laurette house and Moorside Unit. You will manage the on site dispensary, and work closely with our third party provider for off site in patient supplies and discharges. The sites are EMPA and we work closing with the CMHT in the areas including the running of a clozapine clinic. This is a new post looking for someone with fresh ideas to bring this role to life, however you will have a network of support including other deputy chief pharmacy technicians, and the lead pharmacist for each site. The Pharmacy Department at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust has over 60 staff members, working across a number of sites and dispensaries. The post holder will be primary based at Park house Hospital but would be expected to cover across all sites. The post holder will be expected to ensure the provision of quality, effective pharmacy services to improve patient care in mental health services, support the development and delivery of education and training programmes for pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals, ensure and management of financial and procurement systems to monitor drug expenditure and trends.
