We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Clinical Audit Officer to join our busy Clinical Audit Team. You will be working full time (37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4.30pm Fridays) based in modern offices at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital working behind the scenes to improve patient care. There is an occasion requirement to travel to the Princess Royal Hospital for meetings and to cover sickness and annual leave, so you will need to have a full driving license and access to a suitably insured vehicle. You will be involved in reviewing the quality of care throughout the hospital and supporting improvements to patient care. The workload is varied and interesting and you will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team. We are looking for an individual who is fully competent in the use of all aspects of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. You will have a good standard of written English, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team. Training will be given in all aspects of clinical audit and in the use of our Teleform data scanning software. The role will involve interacting with a variety of people within the organisation, including: patients, carers and staff at all levels. Therefore you will need to be able to communicate well and have the confidence to present audit updates at meetings. Must have the ability to use filters in Excel Good standard of written English , with the ability to follow written instructions unsupervised and strong attention to detail.
