This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our Medication Safety, Governance and Information team. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality Medicines Information service that meets national standards, supporting the work of the Medicines Optimisation Group and managing the Trust's Medicines Formulary. The role involves managing the business of the Trust Medicines Optimisation Group, regular attendance at Medicines Optimisation and other relevant meetings, training junior and pre-registration pharmacists, supporting the development of polices, guidelines and PGDs, and handling queries from healthcare professionals and patients. You will need to have a high standard of oral and written communication skills, experience of training and supervising staff, excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to discuss submitted formulary applications/guidelines with senior clinicians and other healthcare professionals with confidence. You should have experience as a clinical pharmacist, and the knowledge and skills to provide high quality clinical pharmacy services to patients. "}
