We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, highly motivated & who will contribute to our provision of high quality, patient centred care. We are particularly looking for a newly qualified GP who is within two years of the date of their certificate of completion of training (CCT), issued by the General Medical Council. GPs who are within a few months of completion of training may also be considered. We are looking for a hardworking, committed GP whose duties will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating predominantly acute, same day presentations. Duties will also include working as part of our Urgent Care Hub team, contributing to the development of our hub & integrating within our PCN team, working as instructed by our Clinical Director & Senior Manager. About us The post holder will: Manage and deal with a wide range of presenting health care needs in a primary care setting. Work with clinical colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are provided for all registered and temporary patients. Undertake a variety of duties such as face to face consultations, telephone consultations, prescribing, dealing with queries, home visits and general duties associated with a GP working in Primary Care. Contribute to planning and decision-making as part of the wider PCN team. Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies. Attend training events organised by the PCN, where appropriate.
