We are based in Laboratory Medicine and provide analytical equipment used in the wider Trust, such as glucose meters and COVID-19 analysers. The post holder will be expected to assist in the provision of an efficient, high quality POCT service, through participation in technical and scientific operations. Key duties include: To follow departmental standard operating procedures and health and safety rules at all times. To take part in any training necessary for an up to date knowledge of all equipment, techniques and maintenance required in areas in which they work. To identify problems within the areas that they are working and report them to their manager. To maintain clear and concise communication with users of the service at all times.
