If the answer is yes then this role could be for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper on ward 1 at St Lukes Hospital. The ward specialises in stroke care and is one of thirteen wards which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services division. You are welcome to visit during the application process to give you an insight to the role. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact jacqueline.mitchell17@nhs.net You will work your contracted weekly hours between 07.00 and 19.30 over a roster covering Monday to Sunday including bank holidays. Free parking is available on site. The local bus transport network has a stop near the hospital. The Trust encourages a healthy work life balance and flexible working opportunities are available. Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This role includes but is not limited to - Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them. Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment. Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision. Managing stores and store rooms. Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools. "}
