This will include contributing to specialist multi professional clinical assessments, interventions, and consultation. The children will primarily be of school age. Be able to act as a resource in the care and service provision for children and young people with ADHD and ASD. Work alongside and in partnership with Community Paediatricians contributing to multi-professional assessments of ADHD and autism spectrum disorder in children and young people referred to the Community Paediatric Service using up to date and evidence based assessment techniques and tools, assessing information from education providers and parents/carers alongside observation of the young person. This may include specialist assessments in clinic, observations in educational settings, and where necessary home visits on clinical need.
