We are looking to recruit a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team Qualified applicants will hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies You will work as part of a diverse and supportive team of Psychological Therapists, PWPs, nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists. We are able offer our team members the opportunity to continue to develop their expertise via training and development opportunities in different parts of our service. Our wider service uses an integrated model which begins at initial detention , continues throughout time in custody and through the gate into the wider community . We have found this model really successful and makes our working collaborative achieving positive outcomes for the prisoners and helps to reduce reoffending. About us We are looking for a qualified or Trainee PWP who has knowledge and experience of working within busy and challenging environments such as community wellbeing services or secure environments and working with people who present with a range of common mental health difficulties, including depression and anxiety. The successful applicant will work autonomously and provide direct interventions to a defined caseload of service users operating within recognised professional guidelines. Qualified PWP's will usually undertake 5 contacts to provide assessments and interventions a day with residents of the prisons. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of a Psychological Therapist and report directly to the Senior PWP. Due to the environment , this is a role that requires face to face interventions with the service users , with no opportunity for remote working . "}
