The post-holder will get an excellent opportunity to improve their skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology The post-holder is expected to conduct audit and research in the department. The post-holder will participate in the resident on-call rota in both Obstetrics and gynaecology, when they will be expected to do Obstetrics. Occasionally, they will be requested to work in other clinical areas of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department to provide cover. Clinical fellows will be expected to provide active medical input into the management of pre-operative/post-operative patients and Gynaecological emergencies. Junior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology The purpose of this post is to provide extensive training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology To participate in on call rota as a JCF. To participate in audit and research. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care. To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. About us Post-holder will also get dedicated time in their rota to develop a specialist skill. Post-holder will be expected to take up a research work during this post and will be provided with full academic support. The post-holder is expected to participate in local MDT meetings, strengthen local service protocols, attend patient tracking and business meetings where needed. The clinical fellow would be encouraged to undergo regular appraisal organised in blocks of 4 months to develop a learning plan and portfolio. The post holder will be supervised by their supervisor for both clinical and academic activities. "}
