Dalgliesh Ward at Melton Mowbray Hospital has 17 beds and is nurse led which will give you high levels of autonomy and satisfaction in leading a service and delivering excellent patient care. The ward provides sub-acute care, medical step down and palliative care as well as rehabilitation. The post holder will take overall responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership, guidance and clinical advice in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality patient safety, effectiveness of healthcare interventions, patient experience and the care environment. You will also ensure the delivery of a clinically effective service which meets the needs of individuals, families and communities in line with local and national development plans, Trust policies and procedures You are welcome to visit during the application process to give you an insight to the types of care delivered on our wards, our MDT working processes and how we work with our patients and their families to facilitate safe discharge home.
