This is an exciting opportunity to join the physiotherapy team within a CQC rated 'outstanding' NHS specialist Trust. We offer nine-month rotations in medical, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary rehabilitation, complex rehabilitation and surgery including critical care with therapy services provided across a range of settings including in the community. The role is ideally suited to an individual with an interest in cardiovascular and respiratory therapy with experience in this field preferred. A proven ability to provide supervision and participation in the development of services would beneficial. Experienced band 5's with a desire to progress into a band 6 role are welcome to apply and will be fully supported once in post. We offer internal and external training opportunities and close working with highly skilled senior therapists. The department has a growing co-hort of support workers and band 5 therapists, we regularly host students across all therapy teams and have a strong working partnership with our exercise physiology colleagues and multi-disciplinary colleagues across the trust. We are a fun and welcoming team, holding monthly cake days, regular social events and trust driven wellbeing initiatives, all of which will help you to settle into the team quickly and build working relationships. About us The role is full time Monday Friday 8am 4pm. The successful candidate will be required to take part in the emergency respiratory on call rota providing out of hours (weekend, late and on call) care to respiratory patients across the Trust on an overtime basis. Competency based training for this will be provided. The Trust are moving towards a 7 day service across therapy services, applicants are advised to consider this prior to submitting an application.
