Applicants are invited to apply for these posts which are 75% clinical and 25% non-clinical . Clinical duties will involve daytime, evening and night shifts providing clinical care in the Resus, Majors, Minors and Paediatric ED. Wexham Park Hospital has a very diverse population, and we see a wide range of clinical pathology. As a Specialist Clinical Fellow, you will be involved in the initial assessment and resuscitation of sick patients including emergency procedures and investigations. Overnight you will be expected to lead the department, working closely with the Nurse-in-charge and providing support for more junior doctors. About us As a Specialist Clinical Fellow in the Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to be involved (along with more senior staff) in the initial resuscitation of seriously ill or injured patients to include investigations, and any practical procedures that may be necessary. Also, you will provide care to those with less serious conditions. You will participate in a 24-hour rota with our other doctors, on a full shift pattern of work. You will obviously be expected to keep yourself fully up to date with the relevant areas of practice. The rota has been redesigned to optimize the work life balance and to provide designated time for clinical and non-clinical administration. Applicants must have completed the Foundation Training programme and must have worked a minimum of 24 months as a Doctor in the NHS. Full GMC registration at the time of submission of application is essential. "}
