What to expect

3. How do you prioritise patient care while managing a high volume of cases?
4. Describe your approach to managing chronic diseases in a primary care setting. Can you provide an example from your previous experience?
5. How do you stay updated with the latest guidelines and best practices in general practice?
6. What strategies do you use to ensure continuity of patient care in a multi-disciplinary team?
7. How do you build effective working relationships with nursing staff, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals?
8. Can you provide an example of a time when you had to collaborate with colleagues to address a complex patient case?
9. What role do you believe a GP plays in promoting teamwork within a practice?
10. How do you approach delivering difficult news to patients? Can you share an experience where you had to do this?
11. What techniques do you utilise to ensure effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds?
12. How do you ensure that patient feedback is integrated into the care you provide?
13. What initiatives have you previously taken to promote patient involvement in their healthcare?
14. Given that this role is initially fixed term, how do you see your contributions impacting the team during this time?
15. What are your long-term career aspirations within primary care and how does this role fit into those plans?
16. What are your thoughts on the importance of collaborative working within a Primary Care Network (PCN), and how would you contribute to that?
17. How do you view the role of technology in primary care, and how have you adapted to its use in your previous positions?
18. Is there anything about the HASP PCN or Dr Raut Partnership that particularly attracts you?
19. Do you have any questions about the team dynamics or the specific challenges facing this practice?
