You will be a highly motivated and competent Pharmacy Technician with dispensing and accuracy checking experience, within a hospital setting, ideally with demonstrable evidence of training and supporting staff. There is a requirement to participate in extended hours working including weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis. Supporting the day to day management and delivery of dispensing and stores related education & training of Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, qualified Pharmacy technicians and support staff. Support the Chief Pharmacy Technician to develop and manage training plans and programmes to ensure that they meet the relevant standards, requirements and legislation both locally and nationally. To support the transformation and forward plans of the Pharmacy business unit by identifying, training and supporting present and future extended roles for Pharmacy technicians and support staff.
