For informal discussion or further information, please email Luke Croager (Community Team Manager) luke.croager@nsft.nhs.uk Band 7 Psychological Therapist A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, committed, and forward-thinking Psychological Therapist to join a growing and innovative team who work with Under 18-year-olds within a Primary Care setting in Suffolk.The Under 18 Wellbeing Team in Suffolk are a skilled multi-disciplinary team who work with children and young people who present with mild to moderate mental health needs.We are looking to recruit a full time band 7 psychological therapist on a permanent basis (1.0 WTE available). Part time hours may also be considered. The post is based in Ipswich covering the East of Suffolk. We are a diverse team with competencies and accreditations in a range of evidenced based psychological therapies. The ideal applicant will be passionate about innovation and new ways of working in multi-disciplinary teams alongside supporting young people people experiencing mental health difficulties in the local community. The clinician joining the team will have a key responsibility for using their skills to enhance communication and understanding of the needs of the child and family. You will be an active team player, supporting the wider needs of this team and be a contributor to innovative practice. In return we will offer you regular managerial support, the opportunity for developing networks with others, and the opportunity to grow your knowledge by working alongside core mental health clinicians and other agencies and professionals. You will be supported by psychological therapists within the team as well as the principal clinical psychologist for the EI CAMHs pathway/ U18 Wellbeing service. You will be provided with opportunities to access relevant Clinical Supervision/ peer supervision as befits your registration requirements. Training in another therapeutic modality i.e. EMDR, IPTA or DBT would be highly desirable. "}
