General practice assistants, (GPAs), form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care to provide a support role within our duty hub, carrying out administrative tasks and care navigating. If you are a well organised person who thrives on a busy working environment, where no two days are the same, then we would love to hear from you. Triaging and booking appointments as appropriate as part of the Duty Hub team, using the AccuRx triage system. Sending referrals to Pharmacy First and MECs. Managing all internal and external enquiries in an effective manner. Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents. to patients healthcare records. Supporting patient experience by reiterating information from the GP. Assisting with practice tasks. Supporting the wider practice team where required.
