We have a good record of encouraging and supporting specialty doctors if their aim is to achieve postgraduate exams and go on to Higher Specialist Training. There are good opportunities for applicants interested in education and research. Specialty Doctors will cover on average 1:11 out of hours second on-call rota. We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Specialty Doctor to work in in an Inpatient and community setting based at Bushey Fields Hospital The post holder will work with Older Adult Consultant Psychiatrists, SAS Doctors and Junior / Trainee Doctors. This post is within a well-established and supportive service, working both on the inpatient wards, having retained the Continuity of Care Model. In addition, you will also work closely with psychologists, OT's and Nurses. The Trust provides all age mental health services from CAMHS to Older Adults.
