We currently have an opportunity to join our band 6 rotation across Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) and Trafford General Hospital and also an opportunity for a static post within our medical specialty team based at MRI. We will discuss at interview which role you are interested in, or state in your application. Our Specialist Band 6 role in our medical team offers the opportunity to provide services across all medical specialties which include Medicine for Older People, Gastroenterology, Renal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine which now includes a Frailty Same Day Emergency Care Unit which is an exciting new addition to our service. Our Band 6 rotation role gives you the opportunity to work across specialties in the MRI including Major Trauma, Stroke Rehabilitation, Amputee Rehabilitation, Critical Care, Surgery and Acute Medical specialties. On our Trafford site there are rotations in Intermediate Neuro Rehabilitation and Orthopedics. You will be working in our multi professional teams which are led by highly specialist Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. You will demonstrate a holistic approach to patient care, joint therapy working and service development.Your will use your assessment, treatment, and discharge planning skills. You will be involved in the development of the services you are based in, You will supervise junior staff and students. You will be encouraged to consolidate your knowledge and develop your clinical and non-clinical skills through CPD within supportive team environments. You will receive regular supervision and be part of an active band 6 peer group. You will contribute to a weekend service.
