Our team of Paediatric Site Practitioners offer 24/7 cover across our wards, supporting with the assessment and management of acutely unwell and deteriorating paediatric patients, escalating as appropriate into HDU/PICU. As a Paediatric Site Practitioner, you'll provide a visible clinical presence around the site, acting as a role model and expert practitioner. We'll look to you to use your advanced nursing skill to co-ordinate resources and work closely with on-site Duty Managers. Day-to-day you'll be involved in the in the PICU step-down process and support with bed allocation as a key member of the Clinical Emergency Team. Out of hours, you'll be part of Paediatric Hospital at Night Team to ensure a timely and appropriate response to patients needs .It is a varied role, but if you can bring us the in-depth clinical knowledge we need then we can offer a career with ongoing development, including a structured, competency-based development programme supported by the Lead Paediatric Site Practitioner and Head of Clinical Operations.
