Be responsible for issues relating to clinical and best practice in schools alongside education colleagues. And continue to provide direct, highly specialist care for children, their families and school staff This will be a fascinating role for you to consider. *Please note this vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications are received, we advise you to submit your application early to avoid disappointment. o Leadership and Operational responsibility for the delivery and management of the CDC Autism assessment and intervention team within the CDC.o Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the CDC Autism assessment and intervention team within the CDC.o Provide expert clinical advice to system partners.o Work in collaboration with leads in Health, Education and Social Care to develop the assessment and intervention pathways and their evaluation, with the focus on identification and system wide early intervention.o Provide Line management for identified CDC practitioners.o To provide highly specialist assessment, contribute to diagnosis and appropriate intervention for children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.o To provide specialist advice, strategies, and clinical reports for children undergoing Autism Diagnostic assessment and follow up care.o To work collaboratively with parents/carers, sharing knowledge and skills and supporting them to develop their understanding of their child's speech, language, and communication difficulties and how they can help their child communicate.
