Interview date will be 22/Apr/2025. Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Antenatal Clinic, Community Midwifery, and Caseload Midwifery teams , ensuring excellence in patient care. Act as a visible, accessible, and supportive leader, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and professional development. Lead on workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and professional development to build a resilient, skilled maternity workforce. Support the implementation and sustainability of continuity of carer models , ensuring equity and improved outcomes for women and birthing people. To have overall operational responsibility for a defined clinical area To directly-line manage the midwifery staff of the defined clinical area On a daily basis ensure that the clinical area is being co-ordinated effectively and be highly visible within the defined clinical area for staff, patients and visitors alike Liaise with the wider Trust network and ensure integration of the real time patient feedback system within the defined area of responsibility. To act in the absence of the Deputy Director of Nursing and Midwifery Responsible for effective communication systems within the defined clinical area and ensure effective and efficient team working within the multi-disciplinary framework.
