ALL applicants MUST have a GMC Registration with the Licence to Practice in the UK.Please note: We anticipate this to be a popular therefore early applications are encouraged, this vacancy may close earlier than the advertised closing date. Clinical Responsibilities Appropriate clinical responsibility for the care of patients delegated by the consultant to their charge. Co-responsibility for the proper functioning of the department, including supervision of more junior medical staff. Running of labour ward with consultant cover on-site during the day, consultant off-site after hours. Clinical duties may be at Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville Hospital sites, with on-calls at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. One protected special interest session. Participation in clinical audit. Attendance at clinical meetings and case conferences as appropriate. Working within the multidisciplinary team. Co-ordinating appropriate medical, surgical and allied disciplines concerned with patient care and communicating appropriately with general practitioners and community agencies. Clinic duties such as gynaecology and ante-natal clinics, as well as some specialist clinics.
