We are looking for a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to provide clinical leadership for our Trauma Physiotherapy team based in Llandough Hospital. The Cardiff and Vale Trauma and Orthopaedics Service is the leading NHS centre in Wales providing a wide variety of treatment for thousands of people. It provides a mix of planned procedures to improve people's health and quality of life and emergency life saving surgery for people within Cardiff and Vale. Our physiotherapists are an integral part of the multi-disciplinary teams and as a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to provide high quality physiotherapy to patients with diverse presentations and complex physical conditions. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated physiotherapist who can provide decisive and effective therapy input and can demonstrate leadership qualities, high level of communication skills and a flexible approach when working under pressure. In this role we are able to offer you experience within a variety of traumatic injuries. You must be able to demonstrate the relevant skills, experience and enthusiasm required to work with this clinical area. They will manage a clinical case load, undertaking specialist clinical physiotherapy duties predominantly based within the specialist area. They will be responsible for planning and delivering education and specialist training and operationally manage a team, providing expert advice in their clinical field. They will work as an autonomous practitioner. They will undertake specialist clinical physiotherapy duties. They will act as an expert for Physiotherapists and other members of the multi-disciplinary team within this specialist field.
