They will work with supportive colleagues in the network pharmacist team to promote high-quality prescribing and optimise the management of long-term conditions. Main duties of the job This is an evolving job role with huge scope for development as we expand our PCN team further over the years. The post holder will: The post holder will support the PCN clinical pharmacists with the Network DES programme. Liaise with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve medicines-related queries Monitor practice prescribing and adherence to local and national prescribing policies Improve service and quality through mechanisms such as audit The post will also work with patients and their carers to get the best from their medicines, improving repeat prescribing processes in General Practice, including promotion of repeat dispensing and online ordering, minimising clinical risk and aiming to reduce wasted medicines.
