The Intermediate Care In-patient Therapy Team are pleased to offer an exciting opportunities for a band 5 Occupational Therapist to join Uckfield ICU as part of our dynamic inpatient therapy team. You will be part of part of the therapy team that works across 4 intermediate care units and as such be supported by our OT supervision and development structure. To practice as an Occupational Therapist as part of the inpatient therapy team that manages the therapy case load and complex discharge planning on the unit. To delegate work to other team members as appropriate. To develop and maintain a high standard of clinical practice as a member of the multidisciplinary team, in line with the code of professional conduct of the College of Occupational Therapists. To assist the multi-disciplinary team in preparing intervention plans, implementing rehabilitation and facilitating discharges. To work jointly with other professionals to ensure a patient-centred approach.
