The Haematology service was developed to support patients undergoing treatment. This role will provide administrative and data support to the team to ensure that the clinicians are spending as much time with patients aspossible. This role will be pivotal in developing, managing and maintaining an Haematology database which will be used to deliver safe andeffective acute oncology services. The day-to-day function of the role will include booking appointments, and subsequent follow up appointments, E-outcoming clinics and any other data entry as and when required. To book all appointments including telephone and face to face into the patient booking system, e-outcome all clinics, ensuring any actions are completed and patients discharge appropriately. Typing and checking clinic letters. To complete general administrative duties. To take and manage incoming e referrals to the team, ensuring that they are passed to appropriate clinician within a timely manner. To participate in audits as required as part of regional and national agendas, as well as internal project-based audits.
