What to expect
First, we'll enable your camera & microphone and then ask you to record a short introduction about yourself, about 30 seconds long, to make sure your camera is working ok.

Then, we'll ask you to answer one or more questions of your choice from the list below:
1. Can you describe your understanding of the role a clinical pharmacist plays in an acute healthcare setting?
2. How do you approach medication management for patients with multiple comorbidities?
3. Can you provide an example of a complex case where you had to make a significant clinical decision? What was the outcome?
4. How would you manage a situation where a prescribing error has occurred on your ward?
5. Discuss your experience with electronic prescribing systems such as EPMA. How do you see technology assisting pharmacies in patient care?
6. Describe your experience working within a multidisciplinary team. How do you ensure effective communication with other healthcare professionals?
7. How would you approach a situation where there is a disagreement between the medical team and pharmacy regarding a patient’s medication regimen?
8. Can you share an example of a time when you supported a junior colleague? What approach did you take?
9. With the current healthcare landscape continuously changing, how do you keep your clinical knowledge up to date?
10. How do you approach learning in the context of rotational roles? Which specialty areas are you most eager to explore, and why?
11. What innovative practices have you seen in pharmacy services, and how would you suggest we implement similar changes in our trust?
12. How do you ensure that patients understand their medication regimens, and what strategies do you use to counsel them?
13. Describe a time when you successfully managed a patient’s expectations regarding their treatment. What were the challenges, and how did you address them?
14. How do you handle sensitive discussions with patients, particularly regarding complex therapies or end-of-life care?
15. Can you explain your commitment to continuing professional development and how you plan to pursue further training in this role?
16. In what ways do you intend to contribute to the strategic development and business plan for pharmacy services in your designated specialty areas?
17. How do you prioritise your workload when faced with multiple competing demands in a busy ward environment?
18. What do you consider the most challenging aspect of being a clinical pharmacist, and how would you tackle it?
19. Explain how you would manage your responsibilities during busy periods, such as weekends or during a public holiday.
20. What motivates you to work in the NHS, and why specifically in the role of a clinical pharmacist with our trust?
