Ensure that external QA program results are collated and transmitted to organisers. Manipulation of materials and objects such as microscopes, and pipettes for accurate and reliable determination of results and diagnosis. Set up and check instrumentation for correct operation, troubleshooting and correcting faults. Maintain instrument, QC and reagent logs and utilise resources cost effectively. Monitor fridges, freezer alarms and incubators and react to alarm / failure situations.
