This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cohesive and dynamic team, who are constantly looking to improve our services in line with developments in evidence-based practice. As a therapist working in a community setting you will hold a caseload across our geographical area, supported by a band 7 therapist. Your role will be to evaluate and support the functional independence of children in a variety of settings, including mainstream & special schools. We have excellent links with other teams in Specialist Children's Services, Education and Social Care and value working collaboratively with others to meet the needs of children and families. Your clinical duties will include devising programmes and setting goals to develop skills, assessment and provision of specialist equipment including seating and coaching and close liaison with parents, carers and staff in educational settings. You will also be expected to contribute and support ongoing programmes of service developments and improvement. You must be able think creatively, work flexibly and independently as well as being a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
