An opportunity has arisen for a full time catering Assistant within the Hive Cafe within Ridgeway Roseberry Park. This is to support the team in the on site provision of hospitalities. Applicants should be highly motivated, reliable, flexible and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Experience of cafe work is essential and the ability to demonstrate good culinary skills and knowledge, cash handling and associated paperwork. Knowledge is required in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment are essential as you will be working in a demanding environment. Preparing, cooking and serving of meals in line with Hygiene Codes of Practice and legislation with particular attention to quantities (portion control), quality and the appearance of meals, assisting with maintaining the highest possible standard of hygiene and health and safety and Assisting with menu planning Candidates should have a good general education.
