If so, read on.... The Under 18 Wellbeing Service is part of the national accredited IAPT initiative. The aim of this is to increase mental health access to those living in Suffolk under the age of 18 who are experiencing mild to moderate levels of anxiety and depression. The service works in conjunction with Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) by providing low and high intensity mental health care to the local population. We are currently looking for 2 Children's Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Suffolk based service. This is an opportunity for Children's Wellbeing Practitioners who are passionate about delivering intensive early intervention support within the THRIVE model and to develop their career within the service. Successful applicants will be excellent communicators, self-motivated and committed to delivering a high standard of care. The role predominantly involves assessment and subsequent delivery of low intensity, high volume short term psychological interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Much of the work delivered is around anxiety and low mood. A key part of the role will also be to support delivery of webinar and groups and be involved in the triage of new cases coming in to the U18 Wellbeing Service. When assessing clients in the role with more enduring or severe conditions, this may involve referring them to other relevant services. About us Why work for us? The post-holder will be able to demonstrate experience of providing high volume, evidence-based practice in guided self-help using telephone, online and other methods of delivery, as well as an ability to lead others in a challenging environment. The post holder will also have: A commitment to delivering high quality client care. Ability to demonstrate resilience when working with clients that are experiencing varying levels of emotional distress. Ability to adapt to change. A positive and solution-focused attitude. Good administration and IT skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills relating to the number of client contacts offered and clinical sessions carried out each week. Capacity to work under pressure. High level of enthusiasm and self-motivation. Ability to work and problem solve independently. Access to a car, or alternative ability to travel independently. Ability to work at any location across Suffolk. Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings.
