Job Details: Salary £59,175 - £95,400 per annum (Pro-rata) Contract Substantive Hours Part-time: 6 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 4.5:1.5) On call None Location Mountnessing Court Inpatient Unit, 240 Mountnessing Road, Billericay, Essex, CM12 0EH. Qualifications needed: Full GMC Registration with a license to practice Experience in the management of a broad range of physical disorders in older adults, including end-of-life care. Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases. Provide guidance and supervision to the team. Work directly with older adult people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external older adult health providers, and acute hospitals. Work alongside 2wte Consultant Geriatrician and 0.4wte Specialty Doctor within the service and share clinical supervision requirements for the team. Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards. Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care. Support your peers and the team manager and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies. "}
