You will provide professional leadership to other registered pharmacy technicians and all other members of the Pharmacy Dispensary team. This role will require weekend working and is based within the Pharmacy department at Colchester Hospital. Responsible for assisting the department in providing a comprehensive and efficient pharmacy service to patients within East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT). Management of the In-patient and Collingwood dispensaries at the Colchester site and act as lead for those departments, liaising closely with the Chief Technician and the Outpatient Dispensary Manager. Supervision of all grades of staff working in these dispensaries and will provide a robust pharmacy service to all wards/departments at Colchester Hospital and outlying units. In the absence of the Outpatient Dispensary Manager, assume responsibility for all aspects of the day to day organization of all 3 dispensaries within Colchester Hospital.
