To work towards providing expert advanced practice and associated leadership of unscheduled care provision that crosses professional and organisational boundaries in emergency, urgent and unscheduled care patients. To act as an expert advisor for patients, carers and all levels of operational clinicians. To take a key role in the development of unscheduled care, to enhance patient care services drawing on multiple research and development methodologies.
