You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the RUH Estates Strategy that has recently delivered the Dyson Cancer Center, a purpose-built facility designed to enhance cancer care for over 500,000 people in the Southwest. This £21.6 million decarbonisation initiative, funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, aims to support our net-zero ambitions by 2030. The project will include decommissioning outdated heating systems and replacing them with energy-efficient options such as heat pumps. This initiative is projected to reduce carbon emissions by 24% annually, equivalent to over 3,400 tonnes of carbon dioxide, significantly enhancing the hospital's sustainability.
