You will have a key role in supporting the departments responsibility for the maintenance, repair and sub-contractor management of Medical equipment. This will Include first line support to users of Medical equipment to Optimise systems up time to gain maximum use of Medical equipment. Ideally, you will possess a minimum of HNC in Electronics and Clinical engineering and have extensive experience since qualifying in the field of Medical Electronics. Knowledge in the application and repair on a wide range of Medical equipment used in a hospital and community is essential although some specific training will be provided. Consideration may be given to applicants with reduced knowledge and skills through a development pathway on a lower band with progression upon completion of the programme. *Anyone who has applied in the last 3 months need not apply **Please note that, for this post, you will be required to have obtained a full UK Driving Licence** The post holder will provide specialist technical knowledge for the implementation and delivery of a long-term operational plan for cost effective and efficient management and deployment of safe medical devices across the Care organisations. They will be working towards achieving compliance levels for medical device repair and maintenance including down time and ensure that systems are available to enable clinical teams to have insight into progress with maintenance and repair of their devices.
