The post holder will be an experienced registered Advanced Practitioner who has completed a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and is able to demonstrate capability for the four pillars of advanced practice including an independent and supplementary prescribing qualification. The post holder will need to be able to utilise a high level of skill and knowledge to support the managerial and clinical delivery of Advanced practice in the urgent care setting. The Advanced practitioner must have the ability to make informed decisions within their scope of professional practice, involving patients and the public to ensure high standards of clinical care are delivered to agreed standards and ensure targets and objectives are met. The Advanced Practitioner will demonstrate high level professional practice through face to face consultations, safe treatment , use of diagnostic skills and evaluation of care, using appropriate clinical management plans for patients in Urgent care.
