Having implemented a successful EPMA system to Wye Valley Trust we now move forward with developing, maintaining and implementing future plans. To aid in this process we a looking to find and exceptional nurse to join our EPMA team. They will form part part of the wider Clinical Systems Group which manages and supports EPR, EPMA and community EMIS for Wye Valley Trust. The nurse applying for this permanent post should enjoy the challenge of not only engaging with clinical staff but also learning the technical processes applied to system management to be a subject matter expert. A core part of the role is defining the art of the possible while providing insight on ward based practices that can be part of change management to provide the right tools for frontline staff. Of course with any system your role will include clinical safety and risk management working along side the clinical safety officer to provide the continued high levels of care for our patients. The post holder will exercise professional accountability and responsibility using professional skills, knowledge and expertise in changing inpatient environments across professional boundaries and in unfamiliar situations. Engage key stakeholders, including patient groups, with planned service changes in relation to EPMA process, patient experience and/or service re-design. Communicate, in the most appropriate manner, technical and non-technical information to staff and suppliers Convey information from experiences and clinical situations to the multi-disciplinary implementation team, contributing in all its' meetings and maintaining open communication. Participate in on-call cover by providing remote support overnight and on the weekends according to the team rota. Work collaboratively with the wider clinical systems support team to jointly co-ordinate upgrade workflows, testing, reviews and updates of training and support resources and procedures, change management and issue management.
