Over the next 1-2 years we are planning to build a new aseptic facility on our Chelsea site. The hospital recently introduced the EPIC digital health record system - and we are looking to use the full capabilities of this system to support the pharmacy aseptic service and become a truly paperless department. The Job Description outlines the roles of the Senior Aseptic Services Technician. You will work closely with and support the Deputy Chief Technician in the day to day running of the Technical Services aseptic suite, providing a quality, GMP compliant service, supplying aseptically prepared medicines including clinical trials, in a timely manner to all service users.You will act as a supervisor under the direction of the Deputy Chief Technician in the aseptic suite or its support areas and to line manage and act as a role model for junior members of staff.
